IAI Team Won 2026 1st Place in 2026 PHM Europe Data Challenge Competition

Industrial AI Center team won 1st place in the 2026 PHM Europe Data Challenge Competition. IAI student Takanobu Minami, under the guidance of Prof. Jay Lee, and achieved an official challenge score of 0.9983.

The 2026 PHM Europe Data Challenge focused on remaining useful life (RUL) prediction for a subway door servomotor system. Participants were asked to develop prognostic methods to estimate degradation and predict the remaining useful life of the system using operational sensor data.
